Hello Pmj...Remember that the 144,000 are from "every nation, tribe and tongue" .. Do you think the people in the Christian community have the edge on being anointed? At this time in history, I don't think so. Remember Cyrus who was anointed by God to release Isreal from captivity from the Babylonians? He was a pagan..yet God used him.....Likewise would God let manmade religion stand in the way of him using a honest hearted person...? I think God would use whoever he wanted to suit his purpose in the end...I think we are in the End.. Would you want Jesus as a friend?
by scout575 inwhilst christians like to portray jesus as the supreme example of love and mercy ( as opposed to a supposedly wicked 'watchtower god' ), does the bible's presentation of jesus cast him in quite the same flattering light that christians like to believe?
for instance, at revelation 19:15 jesus is described as 'smiting the nations and ruling them with a rod of iron and treading the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty god.
' does jesus sound just as bad as the 'wicked watchtower god'?

Well, I felt like you...and what I realized it that they do have the truth over the other churches in leaps and bounds.....so evidently some of the men in the past did have God's spirit.. like Russell and Franz and others but I truly believe God's spirit has left the org. and they are "making the word of God invalid by their traditions". They have made themselves into someone to be OBEYED or their head is CUT off...(disfellowshipped). We don't need an organization ordering us around...We only need Jesus...as he alone is the mediator between God and man. Remember the scriptures about how the slave would become evil and beat his fellow servants...I believe this is what has happened....what do you think???? PM me if you'ld like.

How will it be after the WTBTS will have fallen ?
by Genesis ini sometimes imagine that the wt is destroyed (mental masturbation yeah) and all the people left without hope, sanity and joy.
this will be terrible in itself, if the wt falls suddently i fear a mass suicide.i recall myself thinking that id would rather die that not be in "the truth".
it will be a terrible shock for everybody.

Hopefully when it falls, we'll have Jesus to replace it so the people in it will see the truth of the WT and nothing will be in the darkness. They will hopefully know exactly how harmful the WT is and that it was God that destroyed the WT and not Satan or man....I think it will take God to take it down....it's too powerful. It will be so wonderful for people to know what is the truth and what is a lie and who is really the good guys and who are the bad guys. I'm thinking of the scripture...

that you had just been another sucker on the vine.. when jehovah dumps you, you start looking at yourself longer and harder, and wondering what it was about him that you found in yourself, until all you see there in the reflection is just yourself, dancing with an imaginary hand and waistline.. when jehovah was gone, and the war was over, i realized that all the things that had made me "good", and "moral", and "hate what was bad", didn't mean anything to me anymore.

Tetra, That was very sad and beautiful. I left the org. in Sept. after 26 years. But I feel very close to Jehovah still. I'm not letting that lousy Borg.. bring me down and kill my faith..even though they want you to think, they are the ONLY way to God... I say HELL no...
